Melvin heads up the AirPlus’ Sales and Account Management team. His mission is to expand AirPlus’ footprint in the Nordic countries by offering innovative, virtual payment solutions that support Nordic businesses to achieve their strategic objectives. Melvin is very passionate about building high performing commercial teams and about the latest developments in the payment industry. He brings a wealth of financial, travel, and technology experience to AirPlus with over 20 years of senior commercial expertise.

Helle Kruuse, Sales Manager Nordics and Baltics
Helle has worked in the travel industry for 25 years with 16 years spent in Travel Management. In her various roles, she's always had a strong focus on building relationships and enhancing the travel and payment experience for her customers. She is based in Copenhagen and is responsible for expanding the awareness of AirPlus within the Nordic and Baltic regions. She loves to challenge the status quo and deliver high quality global payment solutions that will help travelers and their companies implement effective payment processes, so they can in turn better focus on their own business.

Henrik Hellner, Strategic Account Manager
Henrik has been with AirPlus since 2012 after previously working in the airline industry. He is based in Sweden and is dedicated to improving and streamlining the travel payment experience of our customers as well as ensuring that they understand all the benefits of the AirPlus payment solutions so they can maximise their company savings and work more efficiently on their business.
Benjamin Runggaldier, Sales Manager Nordics
In the rapidly evolving travel and payment industry, Benjamin strives to help businesses achieve their strategic objectives by providing smooth and innovative global travel payment solutions. With a background in IT and a passion for travel, Benjamin recently joined AirPlus with the goal to expanding the awareness of AirPlus global payment solutions in the Nordic and Baltic region.

Francois Dodane, Global Account Manager
Francois has been dedicated to AirPlus’ global and strategic customers since November 2011 and has a wealth of experience in both banking and the corporate travel world, having worked in many different countries. He provides expertise in both payment and business travel, ensuring the AirPlus global clients receive the highest visibility of their travel spend and learn how to use payment data to maximize savings and compliance. His aim is to be the link between procurement and finance, ensuring that the value of payment data is maximized by both parties.

Theo Fokkens, Global Sales Manager, The Netherlands & Nordics
Payment is the universal and decisive element that connects companies and merchants in the act of making a business travel purchase. Theo is a fintech enthusiast and travel payment specialist who entered the payment industry in 2007. For many years he worked at Ingenico as Key Account Manager for the EMEA region and was responsible for growing the strategic client portfolio in the travel industry. Today, Theo combines his passion for travel with his payment expertise as a Global Sales Manager for AirPlus, where he is responsible for growing the strategic accounts portfolio in the Benelux and Nordic region.

David Compier, Head of Strategic Partnerships Benelux & Nordics
David joined AirPlus as Head of Strategic Partnerships Benelux & Nordics in June 2017. His objective is to develop mutually beneficial commercial relationships with companies within AirPlus´ ecosystem in the Nordics and Benelux. His focus lies in developing partnerships with the global and local TMCs and technology providers within those regions. David started his career as a management consultant before joining the payment industry in 2010. His expertise includes both card issuing and acquiring, gained through various commercial and management roles at world leading banks.

Wendy Gorman, Marketing Communications Manager, The Nordics
Wendy joined the travel industry after completing her Bachelor degree in Commerce and Arts. She commenced her AirPlus life in Product Management in London in 2006 before moving to the main headquarters in Frankfurt where she followed her passion for Communications. She is focused on delivering our key messages to the market and promoting AirPlus so that our Nordic customers can benefit from the AirPlus payment solutions, and in turn better streamline their processes. Her passion not only lies in Communication but in promoting and supporting social awareness and sustainability topics at AirPlus.

Lian Wolfs, Director of BeNeLux & Nordics
Lian Wolfs has been with AirPlus International since 2001 and relies on over 25 years of experience in the corporate travel and payment industry. In her position as Director for AirPlus, she is in charge of deploying the company strategy to support the year over year growth at AirPlus in the Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg. Recently the Nordics countries have been added to Lian´s area of responsibility for the Dutch market. Further responsibilities include the ´perfect´ customer experience, sales, marketing & communication as well as partnership and business development activities. Being a strong believer in cardless payment solutions, Lian was one of the first entrepreneurs launching the AirPlus virtual payment product more than ten years ago. Since then AirPlus has continuously invested in developing the mobile and digital payment solutions to meet customer and market demands.
