Corporate payment specialist AirPlus International is expanding its customer expertise and has appointed two new executives for sales and customer service.

As Chief Representative, he is also part of the extended AirPlus management team and is also responsible for Sourcing and Internal Audit. 51-year-old Mosch brings a very broad range of experience and knows both the product and market side as well as the finance and service areas. Subsequently, he was Head of Product Management at Austrian Airlines and held revenue responsibility for all "Ancillary Services" of Lufthansa Group Hub Airlines. The graduate economist and Master in Management held various senior leadership positions within the Lufthansa Group for around 20 years, was Director Commercial & Legal at Aerologic GmbH (joint venture of Lufthansa Cargo and Deutsche Post DHL) and previously held various positions at Dresdner Bank (now Commerzbank). The position of COO was newly created.

In addition, AirPlus has appointed Fred Baup as the new Global Head of Sales for AirPlus. The 49-year-old was previously Head of EMEA, responsible for sales in Europe, the Middle East and Africa, where he also advanced AirPlus’ Partner Management. He joined AirPlus in November 2019 from Discover Bank, where he held several leadership positions in the Bank Global Network division over a period of nine years. Prior to this, he headed up a global portfolio of corporate banking clients at payment processor TSYS International for three years and was responsible for the Retail and Transportation Vertical Sales & Account Management Team at RBS Worldpay for five years. Fred Baup reports to CEO Oliver Wagner and succeeds Jon Fox, who will leave AirPlus to take on a new challenge.
