AirPlus Shortlisted for Best Corporate Card Provider

Buying Business Travel Awards announce the award category shortlists, with the winners to be announced at the awards ceremony on January 24th 2011 at London’s famous Grosvenor House Hotel.

Buying Business Travel Awards

In its 16th year, the Buying Business Travel Awards return in January 2011. The event continues at its traditional home: the impressive Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House on Park Lane, a JW Marriott Hotel. AirPlus are looking forward to welcoming guests with a sponsored champagne reception followed by a sumptuous gala dinner and a full programme of entertainment.

Best Corporate Card Provider

Entering companies were asked to describe their company, service and product and why they believed their submission was eligible for this category. AirPlus were then required to make their case as to why they should win this award including details about:
- Contributions, innovations and/or industry-leading changes the company has made in the last 12 months
- Success stories, including customer feedback highlighting satisfaction levels
- Growth in the last 12 months
- Value-added activities in place to encourage business and any environmental or corporate social responsibility measures
- Details of any successful marketing activities
- The company ethos, and how staff are rewarded for performance
- The biggest challenge in gaining and retaining corporate business in the current economic climate, and how these issues have been addressed.

Following a detailed entry, AirPlus are delighted to have been shortlisted in the ‘Best Corporate Card Provider’ category.


Judges

The judges were quoted as being most impressed with the detail and creativity that went into the composition of all the entries, explaining that the initial judging of entries to reach the shortlists was no easy task! The standard across the board was incredibly high so AirPlus are delighted to have been shortlisted for Best Corporate Card Provider.
