Dubai, May 2, 2019

Michaela Rothbart is the new General Manager for the UAE Branch of AirPlus International, a leading global provider of settlement and analysis solutions for day-to-day business travel management.

Rothbart has been working for AirPlus for more than 25 years and has a deep knowledge of the travel payment industry. She has held numerous positions at AirPlus during this time. Amongst other areas she has been responsible for the global contract management and the commercial and technical implementations of the global product suite to AirPlus’ corporate customers. In July 2017 she has additionally taken over the global reach EMEA markets and is therefore responsible for the UAE, Africa, Eastern Europe, Israel, Spain and Portugal. She will continue to work in global contract management and implementations alongside her role as General Manager for the Dubai office. Rothbart already knows the market in the United Arab Emirates very well and will strengthen the presence of AirPlus in the Emirates.

Rothbart succeeds Christian Kersten, who left the company to pursue other interests.
