FAQs about your carrier with AirPlus (for Professionals)

We are looking for employees who distinguish themselves with top technical skills and social competence. We welcome applicants who want to contribute to the success of our company with initiative and responsibility and who consider a job with a company that operates internationally as a personal challenge.

Our need for skilled workers is great, however there are many positions where specific know-how can only be accrued “on-the-job”. We welcome a wide variety of experience, perspective and competence in our staff. Career switchers are certainly welcome to apply.

Please send us your application with the customary documents.
These include:
- Cover letter mentioning which position particularly interests you and how you learned of the vacancy.
- All relevant references (work references, previous areas of responsibility, internships and continuing education courses) starting from the completion of school and school records.

If you are applying to us on your own initiative, please note in your cover letter the field that most interests you, and we will be sure your application gets to the right person.

Please apply to the central office and note on your application that you are interested in different fields. In order for your application to reach its recipient as soon as possible, information on your main interest obviously should not be missing. Do you have alternative areas of interest? Several days after your application materials have arrived you will receive confirmation that your application has arrived safely. Generally, you can expect an invitation for an interview or a rejection within six weeks. Should the preliminary round of selection last longer, please just send us a quick mail so that we can inform you of the status of your application:

At AirPlus we meet our candidates at one of our applicant conferences. During the applicant conference you will undergo a psychometric performance test. This measures to what extent an applicant is suited to a particular job with us. Company appointed psychologists are available to advise applicants in their career choice, thereby giving your decision for AirPlus and our decision for you a solid foundation. Finally, there is an opportunity for interviews with the departments you want to learn more about and where you can clarify any remaining questions.

You should plan an entire day for our applicant conference.

Yes! Your costs will be reimbursed up to an amount equivalent to a 2nd class train ticket. Simply send us your receipts.

We would like to make it as easy as possible for our new employees to get started. For this reason a coach is placed at your side during the introduction phase, who is responsible for your initial training on-the-job. Plus, we offer you – in addition to an extensive introduction to all business areas – the possibility of observing colleagues while at work.
