Questions about blocking a card and replacement


If your CMB AirPlus Corporate Card is lost or stolen, please call the CMB AirPlus Corporate Card service hotline 400 820 5558 of Credit Card Center of China Merchants Bank immediately and the application for loss reporting will become effective in the meanwhile so as to mitigate the risk of loss to the minimum (See the CMB AirPlus Corporate Card Fee Form for the loss reporting fees). All losses arising from the CMB AirPlus Corporate Card will be assumed by the Credit Card Center after the loss reporting becomes effective. After you go through the loss reporting formalities, the Credit Card Center will immediately issue a new card and directly mail it to your billing address (except there is a mailing address specially designated by you).


When your credit card is lost or stolen abroad and you still need to use the card, please call the CMB AirPlus Corporate Card service hotline 86 21 68644828 of Credit Card Center of China Merchants Bank to report the loss and apply for an emergency substitute card.

A credit card international organization will contact you to confirm the time, address and way of delivering the card. When applying for an emergency substitute card, please stay at the same place for more than 48 hours to facilitate China Merchants Bank to contact you and mail the new card to you in time.

The emergency substitute card can be only used in consumption by card swiping, other than cash advance.

Such card is only effective in a specified time. At the expiration of the time limit, the card will automatically become void and you are advised to cut and discard it.
If you fail to take the emergency substitute card in more than five days, it will be cancelled automatically; but you still need to pay the charge for the application for issuing emergency substitute card.
