From hotels to taxi rides, business travel payments can take many forms. With Google Pay, you get fast, secure access to your everyday essentials right from your phone. Payments are just one tap away when using Google Pay with your AirPlus Corporate Card.

Conveniently contactless

No need to handle cash or touch card readers. Pay with your phone anywhere contactless payments are accepted. When you’re ready to pay, simply unlock your phone, hold it near the reader, and look for the check mark. That’s it!

Google Pay doesn’t share your actual card numbers, so your payment info stays safe. Just tap and go, knowing that your payments are safely encrypted before, during, and after every purchase.

Set up your AirPlus Corporate Card with Google Pay via the AirPlus Mobile app. Simply tap the ‘Add to Google Pay’ button in the AirPlus Mobile app and follow the instructions.

Or follow three easy steps:

  • Open the Google Wallet™ app or download it on Google Play™
  • Tap ‘Add to Wallet’ and follow the instructions
  • Verify your card if needed. Then you’re all set!


When setting up your AirPlus Corporate Card with Google Pay, please keep some safety tips in mind:

  • Do not share PIN codes or verification data like SMS or TAN codes with third parties.
  • AirPlus will never contact you to perform or verify the setup of Google Pay using credit card data.

  • What are the technical requirements for using Google Pay?

    To use Google Pay, you need an Android™ phone (with Android version 7.0 and up) equipped with near-field communications (NFC) and host card emulation (HCE) work.

  • Is it possible to pay offline?

    Yes, that’s possible. You can use Google Pay when mobile data is deactivated, or the flight mode is switched on. However, there is a limited number of consecutive offline payments. You then need to go online to use Google Pay again.

  • What should I do if Google Pay isn’t working?

    Please check whether one of the following applies to your AirPlus Corporate Card:

    • Is the Card locked?
    • Did you deposit a lock for specific transactions, for example online-payments?
    • Is there a sufficient credit limit?
    • Is the trader’s terminal connected to the internet?
    • Does your device meet the technical requirements to use Google Pay?

  • How much does it cost to use Google Pay?

    Google Pay is free to use for your company and all AirPlus Corporate Card users.

  • Any other safety tips to consider?
