As of May 1, 2021, it will no longer be possible to book China Southern Airlines (CZ) tickets with the AirPlus Company Account, as China Southern Airlines will stop accepting payments for UATP accounts.
In order to further provide our customers and TMCs with an efficient and convenient payment procedure via AirPlus and to minimize the impact on your daily business level, we are offering the following options to settle China Southern Airline ticket payments:
- We recommend using AirPlus Virtual Cards for China Southern Airlines bookings. They will enable you to continue receiving your billing details through a central account as usual. For more information, please click AirPlus Virtual Cards.
- Alternatively, you may refer to your travel agency for your China Southern Airline ticket bookings. They can handle the payment and settlement procedure via AirPlus Merchant Agreement using a current transmission method for non-UATP payments.
Ticket refunds
Ticket refunds may still be processed using the UATP payment method via the AirPlus Company Account during a transition period from the beginning of May and into June 2021.
We therefore recommend submitting all tickets to China Southern Airlines no later than June 18, 2021. Chargebacks should also be received by AirPlus by this time.
Please note that you may experience delayed settlements from China Southern Airlines during this transition period. After this period, ticket refunds will require direct contact with China Southern Airlines.
