Washington, DC – 1 March 2006. Robert Lawrence, a corporate travel industry veteran, brings over 25 years of corporate travel sales experience to AirPlus as its newest regional sales manager. Based in Dallas, Texas, Lawrence is responsible for corporate sales and customer satisfaction in AirPlus’ southern region. Lawrence comes to AirPlus from Orbitz for Business, where he was a leading key account sales manager in the Southwest region. The addition of Lawrence to the North American AirPlus team builds on the corporate travel payment company’s commitment to dedicated customer service and continued expansion throughout the North American market.

At World Travel BTI, Lawrence supported the acquisition of new multi-national partners in key markets. While at Carlson Wagonlit, Lawrence led a franchise sales team, developing a travel agency franchise network throughout twenty-six western states.
