Business Travel World Winner 2005

AirPlus International, a leading supplier of business travel management solutions, won the award for Best Expense Management Process at the annual Business Travel World Awards in London.

AirPlus had strong competition for the award, a new category introduced to the awards this year, including Citibank and American Express. The judges, all highly respected names from the business travel sector, awarded AirPlus the top honor for its "commercial and technical solutions that allow companies to book low-cost carriers in the same way that they book full-service carriers, while enjoying the same superior data quality they receive from full-service carriers."

Entrants to the category were judged on how their processes both collected and delivered data to their expense management systems, as well as the range and extent of their reporting capability.
