“The Northwest Airlines AirPlus Company Account empowers our corporate customers by providing them with a convenient payment system and access to the most comprehensive array of travel reporting in the industry,” said Fay Beauchine, vice president of sales and customer care at Northwest Airlines. “Like CorpNet, Biz Perks and many other products available to businesses, the Northwest Airlines AirPlus Company Account is another example of how Northwest is introducing innovative solutions that meet the evolving needs of our corporate customers.”
The Northwest Airlines AirPlus Company Account provides a variety of options for corporate travel managers including a convenient central payment tool for air travel, individual corporate credit cards for travelers, and access to aggregated data through Internet-based travel expense reporting and electronic invoicing.
“The decision to partner with AirPlus clearly demonstrates Northwest Airlines’ commitment to its customers’ needs by offering them a more sophisticated travel payment solution,” said Richard Crum, president and CEO of AirPlus International’s North America division. “AirPlus is looking forward to working with its newest airline partner, to offer a robust and flexible corporate travel payment solution.”
The Northwest Airlines AirPlus Company Account will be accepted as a form of payment at travel agencies, the airline’s nwa.com Web site, Northwest Airlines reservations and merchants that accept the Universal Air Travel Plan (UATP) charge card.
