International provider of business travel payment solutions shows excellent financial development in 2005
AirPlus, a leading international provider of business travel payment and analysis solutions announced a 14 percent increase in transaction volume for 2005 to over 8 billion pounds. The main drivers of growth were international markets, where volume rose by 37 percent. AirPlus served over 30,000 corporate customers in 2005. Profit before taxes reached the record level of 7.5 million pounds.
“We are very pleased with the 2005 financial results,” explained Spencer Hanlon, Managing Director, AirPlus International Ltd. “Our sustained international growth reflects the rising demand for customised, innovative and global solutions in business travel management. We expect to continue to develop new customer relationships and build our global presence in 2006.”
AirPlus recently announced the introduction of A.I.D.A., AirPlus Integrated Data and Acceptance, a new functionality of the AirPlus Company Account. It offers virtually universal online acceptance for the lodge card combined with the excellent data quality clients have come to expect from AirPlus.
