AirPlus releases world’s most comprehensive business travel management study
Conducted by internationally renowned market research organisation Ipsos Loyalty on behalf of AirPlus, at least 100 travel managers in each market were surveyed. The study reveals numerous differences between the different countries and industry wide trends. It is the first ever comparative study of this kind to be conducted.
While differences between countries are obvious there is a general trend towards increasing volume, especially as far as accommodation and flights are concerned. At the same time, companies are determined to reduce their costs and are searching for opportunities to save.
Spencer Hanlon, Managing Director of AirPlus International Ltd, commented on the results of the study, “This is the most comprehensive study of this kind and some of the results have been surprising. It gives us a clear picture of what developments travel managers are expecting in the future and permits us some insights into what is going on in the sector. We hope to repeat the study next year, which will allow us an even better analysis of trends in the business travel arena.”
The Travel Management Study has been published at the beginning of 2006. If interested in the results, please contact communications@airplus.com.
